There are two methods for logging in on a Digital Deployment website. (Actually there are sometimes three - for some clients, we've embedded a log in box on the home page as part of the design, too!) But typically, there are only two.
Option 1 - using the hidden gear icon
Go to your website URL (for example, digitaldeployment.com or digitaldeployment.ddsandbox.net if your site isn't live yet). Take your mouse and move it to the lower left corner of your browser window. A light grey icon that looks like a gear should magically appear.
Click the icon, and a menu will appear giving you two options: Help, and Log in.
Click the Log in button, then enter your user name and password in the box that pops up.
Note: if you have forgotten your password, click the "Request new password" link and provide your user name or email address, and the system will send a link to your email allowing you to set a new password.
Option two: going directly to the log in URL
This is handy if your browser is cranky and doesn't want to let you click the gear icon for some reason. It's also just a good thing to know, since the log in URL is standard and always available on your site.
To log in this way, visit digitaldeployment.com/user (replacing our domain name with your own live or sandbox domain) and log in using your credentials. You can also access the "Request new password" tab from this URL if you have forgotten your password.
Handy tip: you can tell you’re logged in when the Commands menu appears in the lower left hand side, where that magic little gear appeared before you logged in.
