Mailchimp campaigns and reports

There are some great tools in Mailchimp that will allow you to track how well your campaigns are doing.

The Campaigns tab shows a list of all your recent campaigns, with brief stats on open rates, etc:

You can view details for each campaign by clicking on the title. On this page you'll learn how many people opened the email, how many clicked a link (and what links!), what time of day people read it, and much more.

To view reports, you can click the View Report button for that particular campaign. You can also click the Reports link in the left navigation to see a graph of the performance of your recent campaigns:

Poke around and you'll learn a lot, over time, about what sort of messaging and timing works best for your readers.

Another way to view your campaign report for a specific email blast is through the website. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the email blast post you sent out.
  2. Click on the edit flyout for that post and select Blast via e-mail.
  3. Here, you can see the past sent campaigns for this blast. Click view report to see a report summary from MailChimp directly.
