How to use Constant Contact with website created email bundles

If for some reason you cannot use our system for sending emails (maybe you already have a Constant Contact account that you want to keep using), you can prepare your blast in the Digital Deployment system, then send it via Constant Contact.

  1. Log in to Constant Contact
  2. Click the "Create button"
  3. Select "Send an email"
  4. Then click "Custom Code" at the top right of the screen.
  5. Type in the email name and click “Next”
  6. Now, choose “HTML” as your email format. Click next.
  7. You will be taken to the editor now. Add a message Subject, from name etc...
  8. Add a message footer and header as well.
  9. After adding all the items in the editor, click on the “Advanced editor” at the left. Delete all HTML code in the advanced editor.
  10. Now, go back to the Website where you have opened the “Blast via email” page. (campaigns tab). Right click on the “Preview E-mail” button and click “Open link in new window”.
  11. If you’re in any browser except for Chrome, go to the top menu in your browser and click View > Page Source. If you’re in Chrome, go to View > Developer > View Source
  12. Copy all of the Page Source and paste it into your advance editor in CC.
  13. Near the end of the editor, you’ll see “</body>” and “</html>”. Type in “<Open Tracking>” above these two items.
  14. Click “Save and return”.
  15. Click “Save and next” on the next screen.
  16. Choose the email list you'd like to send to.
  17. Save draft or send it now.
