Browser support policy

Digital Deployment is committed to making our clients’ websites accessible and consistent across supported browsers and platforms. We have established a set of guidelines for browser support that allows us to use modern, progressive web technologies to deliver a superior user experience and allow us to focus on delivering new features quickly, efficiently, and as close to bug-free as possible.

Supported browsers

We fully support our customers’ use of the most recent two versions of the following browsers:

  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Google Chrome
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

We support these browsers on any operating system that they are able to run on, including Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.

During the initial buildout of your site, we will validate that all currently supported browsers display your website as close to the original design as is technically possible. The goal is for the website to match the designs pixel-for-pixel, but if that’s not technically possible for whatever reason, then we still ensure that the intent of the design is captured correctly.

Once the site is live, if you find display problems with any currently supported web browser, we will be happy to fix them free of charge as part of your ongoing monthly SLA fee.

Compatibility for unsupported browsers

Using legacy browsers for day-to-day web browsing is generally not considered to be a best practice. More modem browsers are more secure and can generally make the web feel faster, even on the same Internet connection. For the security and general happiness of your users, we strongly recommend using one of our supported browsers.

Nevertheless, if you have a business need to maintain compatibility for legacy browsers, we may be able to perform those fixes on a time and materials basis. For more information, please reach out via a support ticket with the problem that you’re experiencing, as well as some information about the operating system, browser, and browser version that you need support for.
