Create a Landing Page:

  1. Navigate to "COMMANDS > MANAGE NAVIGATION":

    • Begin by accessing the navigation management section. This is where you'll initiate the process of creating a landing page.
  2. Click on "Add Term" and Choose a Name:

    • Give your landing page a clear and relevant name. This will be crucial for users to identify the purpose of the page.
  3. Save the New Term:

    • Once you've chosen a name, save the new term. This step ensures that your landing page is officially created and ready for customization.

Discovering the Taxonomy Term:

After successfully creating your landing page, the next step involves determining its taxonomy term, a key element for redirecting the URL.

  1. Hover Over the "Clone" Link:
    • Identify the page where you want to add the redirection and hover your mouse over the "Clone" link. Note the number that appears in the address below; this is your taxonomy term. For example, if it's 150, take note of that.

Creating the Redirect:

Now, let's proceed to set up the redirect for a smooth user experience.

  1. Go to "SITE BUILDING > URL REDIRECT > ADD REDIRECT" in the top menu:
    • Access the URL redirect section to initiate the process.
  2. Add the Taxonomy Term in the "FROM" Field:
    • Enter the taxonomy term you noted earlier in the "FROM" field in the format taxonomy/term/150.
  1. Add the Destination URL in the "TO" Field:

    • In the "TO" field, insert the URL of the site where you want to redirect users.

  2. Click Save:

    • Save your changes, and you're all set. Users will now be seamlessly redirected from the landing page to the specified destination.

By following these straightforward steps, you'll be able to create a landing page and set up a redirection without any hassles. This streamlined approach ensures that your meeting/event information is easily accessible, providing a user-friendly experience for your audience.
