Configuring the URL of a Landing Page

Created by Ryan Ginsberg, Modified on Wed, 10 Mar, 2021 at 2:32 PM by Ryan Ginsberg

The URL of a "Landing Page" is created when a new "Navigation Term" is created.

The "Navigation Term" refers to the visible text inside your sites navigation.  A "Landing Page" refers to page where all the content can be viewed.

To create a new "Navigation Term", check out the video here.

To modify the URL of an existing "Navigation Term" and "Landing Page", you will need to follow the following steps.

  1. Click on "Commands" --> "Manage Navigation"
  2. Click "edit" on the term you need to update
  3. The "Full Term" input field is responsible for generating the URL of the "Landing Page"
  4. The "Short name for navigation menu" input field is responsible for the visible text shown on the navigation. This field is optional and if left empty, the system will use the text entered into the "Full Term" field.
